TOP STORY: THE BROOK IS BACK!

Ozen was defeated on Friday by the West Brook Bruins. In double overtime, the Bruins beat the Panthers 35-34 with a two point conversion by half-back Quinn Pinson. This was the first time West Brook has ever beaten Ozen in Ozen's 5 year history. Beaumont Bowl I was an exciting game that none of us will soon forget.

Offense on the Bruins side was a little lacking in the first half, but Matt Calvert turned the game around with his 40 yard reception for a touchdown from QB Billy Chavis. The Bruins will try to repeat their victory of Beaumont Bowl I when they face the Central Jaguars this week in Beaumont Bowl II. I think, though, that WR Blake Kelley sums this victory up the best when he said on the news "Can't touch this white honkey cracka!"
